Case Closed is Sheridan's Official Case Study Competition. It is a one-day, in-person case competition at Touchdown Coworking in Oakville. Up to 60 students compete in teams of four across three tracks: Analytics, Engineering, and Business Strategy. The event is detective-themed, featuring real cases and industry judges.
The event is co-hosted by Sheridan TechBiz, GDG Sheridan, and the Sheridan Finance Club. Sponsors include Google, CFA, MLH, and more.
To get started: 1) Register and pick your track. 2) Form a team of four, or sign up solo and organizers will match you with a team. 3) Show up during the Fall term in Oakville (Location TBA). 4) Bring your laptop and charger — the rest is on the organizers.
Registration is open in September 2026. Only 60 spots are available on a first come, first served basis.
