Voice AI Developer Hackathon The future of AI isn't a chatbox, it's a conversation! Join us for a hands-on afternoon with Alebex. See how real-time voice agents work, then build one around a conversation you would like to improve. Come solo or with a team; we will provide examples and support before a 2.5-hour build sprint and Show & Tell.

About Alebex Alebex is a Vancouver-based AI company building real-time voice AI infrastructure and agentic voice technology for businesses and developers. In September 2026, its streaming speech-to-text model ranked #8 worldwide and #1 in Canada on Artificial Analysis' AA-WER Streaming Index.

What you will do Learn different ways to create a voice agent, from the Alebex console to API-connected tools. See how real-time Voice AI works, then build and test an idea of your own. Work on your project solo or with a team during the 2.5-hour build sprint. 🏆 Share a short demo at Show & Tell. The winning project receives $200 in Alebex API credits. Selected demos may be featured in our event recap and social channels, with the builders' permission.

Who should come and what to bring Yourself! Everyone is welcome, whether you build with AI every day or simply want to try something new. No coding experience is needed. 💻 A laptop and charger. An idea or conversation you would like to improve (optional; we will have starter ideas). We will provide Alebex developer access, free credits, examples, and hands-on technical support. 🍕 Pizza will be provided midway through the afternoon.
